Music: Making Happiness
Music Feeding Other's Soul Writing songs was really a default for the fact I couldn’t read music or didn’t have the patience to learn. It was a big challenge during my grade school piano lessons. So instead, I would just go over to the piano and doodle and sing, until one day it started sounding decent enough for me to like enough to keep playing. I then started playing at my grandmother's after...

The Road is Lonely: What’s The Story?
Introspection from the Songwriter By Jennifer Triplett As a survivor of loss, you may always carry a new perspective on life which can be a struggle or fight (“us against the world “). “Streets lights pass me by” is a metaphor for time passing by and souls leaving, along with traveling or moving forward in life. It touches the delicate moment when sometimes the sadness felt results in reaching...

Listen People: A Tale of a Veteran
Upcoming Release: Listen People
A Soldier’s Song ‘Listen People’
Releasing November 22nd on all major platforms. Pre-Save
I’m excited to announce my new song, dropping on November 22nd, which I hope will resonate with Americans across the political spectrum.
“Listen People” invites you into a realm that few can grasp—the silent struggles of veterans who’ve given their all for the liberty of our nation. This poignant anthem is a plea for recognition and compassion, reflecting the profound emotional and psychological burdens carried by those in service. The song, with its heartfelt lyrics and stirring melody, narrates the valor, tenacity, and concealed conflicts that our veterans confront beyond the battlefield.
One of my favorite lines in this song is “Listen people here I stand. I fought the battle for our homeland. And though it’s over it still plays on, in our memory and in our psalms.”
I look forward to sharing this song and many more in the coming months.

A soldier’s narrative illustrating that the pursuit of freedom for America is deeply intertwined with the sacrifices made by those who serve on the frontlines.
In the shadow of bravery lies a haunting reality that many face, where the sacrifices made on the battlefield echo long after the fighting stops, leading to battles within that are often unseen and unheard; these courageous men and women bear the weight of memories that cling like a heavy fog, struggling to reconnect with the warmth of home and heal from the scars of war, navigating a world that sometimes feels alien and unwelcoming, yearning for understanding, support, and the solace of knowing that their fight is not just for freedom in a distant land, but also for peace within their own hearts and minds.
This is a song I started writing in the 80’s. The beat was basic and was done on one of those keyboards that seemed to have air running through it? Anyways, I located a very large box of my old tapes and came across this one. Liking the beat and basic message I decided to resurrect it. I finalized the lyrics and built more of the melody last year and changed the message from general freedom to a more specific cause being the freedom that has been fought for by our soldiers.
I just finished recording the vocals for this song and it is in the hands of my produce TK Productions. Due out Mid-November 2024
