I woke at 4:30 AM. I lay there thinking that there are only 2 more days to see the sunrise at the beach.
To my surprise the sky had gifted gorgeous hues of red. The contrast between the color and the dark created incredible silhouettes of buildings transforming them into geometric shapes. These shapes at the moment were no longer obstacles for my view. They became part of the picturesque scene.
Moments like these feed my creativity. Unable to take my guitar down to the beach I opted for my tablet and began writing this post. Taking a moment to wake my mind a song came to me. I decided to practice my whole new process I started in songwriting which emphasizes play it out in your mind first, then get up and do a vocal recording.
As I sit here on the beach, I take the time to take it all in. Dog run past me, wet from chasing the waves and frolicking in the sand. The moment reminds me of my dog who had to stay home, but loves the beach in the off season. The things I have left behind are waiting for me. It’s time go home. Back to the daily activities that fill my weeks.
I hope I can bring back this peacefulness. The calm rushing sounds of the ocean waves. The melodies of the birds as they search for their breakfast. It reminds that nature is a precious gift and so is time. I hope you find time in the day to find tranquility.

That is a beautiful sunset there’s nothing like watching the sun set from the beach.
