One day while we were on travel, my son called to me in a very excited voice. “Mommy, come take a look into another dimension!” I thought he had lost it. However, to my amazement, I noticed that on each side of the wall and in front, there were mirrors and if I angled myself just right I could see what he was referring to. Our faces seemed to travel on forever. It’s fascinating to see the way they observe things that we, as adults, tend to glance past. I took several series of this image. The trickiest part was getting the mirrors just right so that the show the never ending trail, as seen in the photo below. The lighting was also a challenge, since I didn’t want the flash. The mirrors also created interesting geometric shapes. This image is a good representation of how I approach art and design projects. I have been studying fine arts since childhood and always enjoy finding a different way to look at things. I converted some to Black and White because I am a fan of shadows and contrasts.
