We were truly blessed this weekend in Maryland with gorgeous weather. After weeks of rain and heat the mornings greeted us with crisp breezes and birds singing merrily. I can truly say a large portion of my time was spent outside and not hiding in my cool basement. It was a weekend filled with nature, camping, music, and family. I feel like I got to steal back precious time that otherwise would have been wasted by just being too hot to do anything. I even got to set up a little picnic for my mom in my front yard with the dogs safely chilling out in my wagon.
It makes us remember how important being outdoors is to our mental health.
It was truly a gift from nature and reminded me of the reason I wrote the song Token For You.
