This morning I settled down bright and early with my “Life Is Good” coffee cup and one of my favorite acoustic guitars (Alvarez Parlor) and started practicing some covers. As I finished up ‘Brown Eyed Girl’, I looked over to see the epitome of chill in my dog. I realize she is not really the best at motivating me to get going with my work day, as she is snuggled up on the couch peacefully sleeping, with the TV remote by her side. I will remind myself it is Friday, which technically means it is the weekend. Anyone else have a a special friend like this that inspires you to relax a bit?
