Photography of a smoke tree with the sun’s rays cast a glowing look on it’s leaves. As the sun sets leaves and nature can become illuminated and create fascinating shadows and highlights. This golden leaf soaks in the last hour or so of the day. As I was staring outside of my mother’s home, my eyes spotted this wonderful play of lights and shadows. I tried to capture the glowing of the leaf and the sun’s rays. Sometimes in a hectic world, we need to capture the beauty that nature provides us for free. I’m glad I found this photo from the fall. It is one of my favorite seasons here in Maryland.

Beautiful photo [I agree with Katie and Tarheel] and one more detail: I love the leafs white outline, especially on the bottom right corner.
What a simple pretty photo. Fall is gorgeous in Maryland, that’s for sure. 🙂
I really like the flare from the sun in the upper left. Lots of detail and the golden tone of the leaf is very appealing. The “leading lines” of the veins in the leaf really work well to get the eye to explore the image as well. Nice!
Thanks!
