New release ‘Songbird’ is an uplifting song I wrote a few months ago when experimenting with Open G tuning on my guitar. Lyrics and melodies just come to me, and I typically don’t try to overthink. Just freely writing is one of the most relaxing things about the creative process. This likely comes from my studio art practice and working in watercolor, where the art is expressive and happens at the moment. Music video in the works.
