Experimenting with photography outside, I took 3 closeup lenses from my old Vivitar and placed them over my Canon EOS. You would think I went into Photoshop and did some crazy blur filter or something. Sorry…what you see is what you get. This is an image of dried grass. The sunlight is what makes the glowing. It is then magnified by the lenses. The blur effect is from having multiple lenses which also creates a distortion.

hiya, I have had a bit of a spring clean and moved my Blog address to http://antiquityandadventures.wordpress.com/ i,d love it if you fancy following my new site kind regards maenamor π
Very cool. I like this idea of holding lenses in front of your camera! But how do you hold multiple lenses? I mean how many arms do you have?? π Seriously, do you have some kind of framework or steampunk apparatus to hold and align them?
I held them gently ( not really touching)over top my Canon zoom lens then focused additionally by moving forward and backwards.
Oh, so not all three lenses at the same time… I guess… I was imagining something much more difficult. π
The three lenses screw onto each other. They are for my film camera. π
Oh I see. Gotcha! π
Great interpretations! Lots of creative thoughts!
Love it!
You are so creative and inspiring. This is lovely.
Wow, I love it
I’m reminded of a volcano with lava flowing. Very cool. π
