Sometimes during the holiday season it’s nice to remember the fun memories of the things you miss. Max, lived to be 16 1/2 years old. He passed away last February. Max was found as a 5 week old puppy in a box on the side of a road in West Virginia. Since the day we saw him in that box, we never stopped loving his fun and easy-going and determined personality. Everyday he would great us at the door with one shoe (which created an interesting game when you needed a pair). One day, when he was about 16, he grabbed two shoes. Now for a 35 pound dog whose face is smaller than the pair of shoes he is carrying, this is quite a feat (or feet). This photo I posted for my boys, who always laugh when they see this photo. So my children hope you like this photograph and have a laugh or two with it.
