I started this blog about 14 years ago as an outlet to continue my creative passions after quitting my career to raise my two toddler sons. Now I am sitting back down after re-discovering my passion for songwriting since my adult sons have set sail into the word of college. Crazy to think how it seems that time has zoomed by, even though while it was all happening it seemed slow. But looking back, I realize that I sacrificed my passion projects for their well-being and I would likely do it again in a heartbeat, but with more “me time” built into the “mom-nurture-entrepreneur” schedule. Running a website marketing company for the past 14 years while running to band practice, school-drops offs, parent-teacher conferences, and forgotten lunches didn’t leave much for the “me time” that authors of self-help books talk about.
