An unexpected treasure of flowers and blue waters.
Our recent journey with our new RV took us to Indiana Dunes State Park. The campsites themselves were clean and well maintained. However the trails were easy to get to and offered a walks through the massive dunes, wading in the blue waters, and hikes through marshlands with the sounds of nature abound. While we didn’t really pull our bikes out for this trip, it was definitely filled with miles of hikes from easy to moderate and a couple of strenuous (which entailed climbing large dunes). Having our small dog with us was a challenge, but she enjoyed the hikes and was carried from time to time. She even got a chance to chill herself by the lakeside; which I couldn’t resist capturing.
