There is nothing more challenging to me than writing about myself as I am getting ready to release my first single “The Road Gets Lonely’ this Fall. I can think up 100 different procrastinating tasks to perform rather than put into words what my narrative is. What makes me so “special”. But as I sit here looking out into my back yard filled with flowers, a frog pond, and listen to the nature that has made this place its’ home, I know in my heart I am passionate about this world. Humans should be treated equally. Mental Health needs attention. Aging should be embraced and not limited to your mind-set. Empathy matters. The environment where we eat, breathe, and rejuvenate in should be respected and protected. We shouldn’t have to worry about feeding our children. The food should be safe and bountiful. Laughter is one of the best medicines for being happy. All these things are wrapped into the songs I write or the words that come out into my lyrics subconsciously.
